REAL-WORLD MANAGEMENT

More Mentoring Required!

by | Mar 15, 2025 | Training and Development | 0 comments

Mentoring can be very valuable for managers because their realities differ markedly from the content of much management and academic training. Dealing with people with their many strengths and many weaknesses, working with internal politics, and making decisions in uncertain environments and with imperfect data pose stressful challenges. Mentors can offer insightful support and reassurance. Unfortunately some organisations regard mentoring as for wimps. Forward-looking leaders embrace the role.
